Simon Bolivar Park

To ensure safe travel by public transport, the company TransMilenio has extended its schedules from 23:00 pm to 16:00 pm. The idea of the Mayor’s Office is for the attending public to avoid the use of private vehicles as much as possible.

This year’s move to such a central and emblematic area, which is also the scene of other music festivals during the year, has generated a lot of expectation. The Simon Bolivar Park is an urban park with 113 green hectares and, since its inauguration more than fifty years ago, it has become the green lung of Bogota.

For years, it has been the scene of many Sunday afternoons of the capital, and also hosts events as important as the Summer Festival and Rock al Parque.
