The soursop, or guanabana, scientifically known as Annona muricata, is a delicious tropical fruit from Colombia. While its exact place of origin remains a mystery, it’s considered native to South America, thriving in lowland regions up to 1,150 meters above sea level.

In Colombia, it mostly grow in the country’s warm and humid climate, making it a common sight in backyards and orchards throughout Colombia.
