Usiacuri is a town in Colombia reknown for its murals and handicrafts. Usiacuri, Colombia’s capital of murals

One of the largest rooftop murals in Colombia is found in this small town of 10,000 inhabitants. From Usiacurí’s Mirador Park, you can appreciate this local art, which highlights the natural wealth of the Luriza Reserve, a unique environmental reserve in the Department of Atlantico.

Birds like the Caribbean guacharaca, the scarlet tanager, the bronzed cowbird, and the spectacled owl are all featured in the art that decorates the town’s rooftops. The mural spreads over 100 houses and extends over 19,000 square meters. Usiacuri is also known as the “Nativity Scene of Atlantico” due to its picturesque and traditional charm.
