K-Pop supergroup BTS has announced two concerts in Bogota, Colombia, as part of the band’s World Tour. The concerts in Bogota’s Estadio El Campin have been set for Oct. 2 and 3, 2026. So far, no official ticketing details have been released, and Colombian fan groups have called for fans to beware of scammers and people who want to take advantage of the millions of fans the Korean group has amassed in the country.
BTS will reportedly use a 360-degree stage for their World Tour. The event will be produced by Paramo, Ocesa, and Live Nation. The band will have shows in other Latin American countries such as Peru, Argentina, and Brazil, with more dates and locations set to be announced.
The Korean group had previously had Latin American shows in 2014, 2015, and 2017 in Mexico, Brazil, and Chile. The upcoming shows will be the first time BTS visits Colombia. Last year, one BTS member, J-Hope, had a powerful concert in Mexico City, marking the first time in seven years that one of the band members visited the Latin American country.
BTS fans in Colombia are one of the band’s biggest fandoms in the world
Bogota’s ‘Army’, as the BTS fandom is known, is one of the biggest in Latin America. With over 30,000 followers on Instagram, the movement has created cultural events in the city, as many fans gather in parks and other public spaces to listen to BTS’s music and practice the band’s choreographies.
BTS had previously had a three-year hiatus from music, and this World Tour is set to be their comeback to the big stage. The band was forced to momentarily stop their music career due to conscription laws in South Korea. After the news broke that the seven band members had renewed their contracts, speculation over a possible tour began to grow across the ‘Army’ worldwide. A new BTS studio album, which was recorded last year, is also set to be released on March 20.
The group is conformed by Jung Kook, V, Jimin, Suga, Jin, RM, and J-Hope since 2013 and has become a musical juggernaut across the globe across a career that already spans more than 10 years.
