25 Colombian Night Clubs Among World’s Top 100

Colombia has achieved notable international recognition in nightlife, positioning itself as the third most represented country in the world on the Top 100 Best Clubs list of the International Nightlife Association. This year, Colombia was nominated 25 times, following the United States (74), and Spain (73).

These Colombian clubs appear on the Top 100 Best Clubs List

Medellin received the highest number of nominations with seven clubs: Bar Chiquita, Dulcinea, Ene Rooftop, La Chula, La Oculta, Discoteca Brutal, and Mall Bora Bora. In Bogota, six venues appear on the list: Candelario, Clandestino Club, Cumbia House, Octava, Salvador, and Theatron. Regarding Cali, there are four nominations for Cantina La 15, El Mulato, Living Nightclub, and La Pergola Clandestina, the best ranked club in Colombia.

In Cartagena and Villavicencio, two clubs have received nominations: El Pasquin de Joaco, La Movida, Los Capachos, and Maria Bonita. Additionally, in Pereira, Chia, Manizales, and Duitama, other nominations include Cantina 1810 in Pereira, Andres Carne de Res in Chia, Patrimonio in Manizales, and Flow Multiespacio in Duitama.

Camilo Ospina, president of the Board of Directors of Asobares Colombia, showed his enthusiasm for Colombian nightlife recognition. “We are proud that they have chosen 25 of our affiliates. This presents us with an opportunity to expand our global presence in this prestigious club ranking. We are sure that if we unite as a country and vote for our clubs, regardless of their location, we can establish Colombia as a premier musical and entertainment destination for tourists”, said Ospina.

The voting for this ranking started on June 6 and will remain open for four months, concluding on October 1. Among the 420 venues located in 65 countries, Colombia has stood out with nominations in different Colombian cities. People can vote for their favorite club to enter the list of The World’s 100 Best Clubs 2024 edition at the following link.

The selection of the best international nightlife places considers important aspects such as the venue’s concept, infrastructure, innovation, security management, acoustic adaptations, lineup, and sustainability policies. These criteria ensure that the selected clubs stand out for their quality and originality. 

According to the International Nightlife Association, the final ranking will be unveiled on November 20, during the Golden Moon Award, in Dubai.
