Jared Leto has been spotted walking the streets of Bogota. The American singer and actor is in Colombia to participate in the seventh edition of the Estereo Picnic Festival being held in the capital until next Sunday.

The founder of the alternative rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars was seen in Zona T, an area of bars and nightclubs near Calle 85, a few hours before his performance at the music festival that this year is located in the Simon Bolivar Park.

The fans’ big moment

“I can’t wait to see you at Estéreo Picnic, it’s been a long time, we miss you, we love you and we’ll see you soon,” said the Louisiana artist in a pre-concert video. Leto had the opportunity to meet with his fans before the concert, as many Colombian fans wanted to greet him and take pictures with him at the exit of his hotel.

In his walk during the early hours of yesterday afternoon in the Zona T, as well as in the evening hours of Wednesday, March 20, the singer was recognized by several fans who wanted have their picture taken with him. The American made himself very available, participating in the autographs and photos that the Bogotans asked for.

Thirty Seconds to Mars at the Estereo Picnic

Leto performed with his band, Thirty Seconds to Mars, on Thursday night. The artist is known as much for his acting as for his music. Not surprisingly, Jared Leto was awarded an Academy Award in the Best Supporting Actor category for his performance in the film Dallas Buyers Club, ten years ago.

Thirty Seconds to Mars’ visit marks their return to Colombia after more than 13 years since their last performance in the country in 2011. Just before arriving in Bogota, Leto was in concert in Paraguay, one of the countries on his tour, which he announced with an extravagant show in November 2023. On that occasion, Jared Leto climbed the tallest skyscraper in New York, the Empire State Building, to promote his tour.

Yesterday’s concert at Simon Bolivar Park, which lasted more than an hour, featured the participation of Colombian singer Manuel Medrano. The artist from Cartagena, winner of two Latin Grammys, took the stage to participate in one of the songs of the American group.
