It was also praised for providing the Best Airport Staff Service in the region based on analysis from one of the largest global surveys conducted annually on airport customer satisfaction.

The World Airport Awards began in 1999 with Skytrax’s first Global Airport customer satisfaction survey. Doha’s Hamad International Airport has been named the World’s Best Airport 2024 and also won awards for the World’s Best Airport Shopping and the Best Airport in the Middle East.
